Sinead O’Connor (Thankfully) Goes Back to Her Old Look

Earlier this summer, Sinead O’Connor stunned the world when she was photographed looking like a live-action goth Teletubby.




But on Thursday night, she appeared at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles with her familiar shaved head — and some colorful tats.


O’Connor was there to perform her signature hit, “Nothing Compares 2 U,” but the 44-year-old mother of four told People she was most excited about getting to dress up for the event.


She’s also started touring again, and recalls that even though she had huge success back in the 1990s — and was one hell of a rabblerouser — she wasn’t always all that self-confident.
