The man who allegedly stalked Selena Gomez is a “serious threat” to her safety, according to at least one detective with the Los Angeles Police Department.
In a sworn declaration, Detective Jose Viramontes wrote that Thomas Brodnicki “reiterated” his “conversations with God” about murdering Gomez and had no intention of ending his pursuit to meet her.
The detective declares that Brodnicki made “credible threats” to Gomez, who yesterday won a three-year protective order against him.
Brodnicki pled not guilty to one count of stalking, and is scheduled to be back in court on November 16.
He allegedly traveled from Illinois to California to confront Gomez, and is said to have revealed to a psychiatrist that he made several visits to her workplace.
