CLAIM: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s “Marriage in Crisis!

The honeymoon is definitely over for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” claims Star.

According to the tabloid, the couple’s relationship is in “crisis” as Madden gears up to leave Los Angeles for a stint on Australia’s version of “The Voice.”

Richie is “fuming,” a so-called “insider” tells Star.

“Nicole was opposed to Joel’s doing The Voice from the start, because she doesn’t want to endure the months apart,” explains the tabloid’s source. “But Joel isn’t listening. He insists that he needs to do it for his career and signed on without her OK, which set off a nasty round of fighting.”

Star asserts Richie and Madden spent most of their December 11 anniversary “bickering” about the show.

The “insider” also alleges that Madden “often isn’t around to pull his weight” with the couple’s two children, leading to strain on the relationship.

“Nicole complains all the time that she feels like a single parent,” adds the Star source.

CLAIM: Angelina Jolie Driving Brad Pitt “Crazy”

We have a pretty good idea of what In Touch magazine will look like in 2012.

Unfortunately, it’ll be just like 2011… and 2010… and 2009.

That’s because the tabloid is caught in an endless loop of bashing Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and predicting doom for their relationship.

So it’s no surprise that this week brings yet another In Touch report about how she’s “driving Brad crazy!”

“Her closed-off lifestyle” is making Pitt nuts, explains a so-called “insider,” adding, “When they’re back in LA, she goes ballistic if he tries to leave home.”

Is that true?

And it’s “not much better” when they go out together, claims In Touch, which says the couple “got into two spats” while dining at restaurant Boulevard 3.

Golden Globe 2012 Nomination Snubs.

Inevitably, after the Golden Globe 2012 nominations were announced and everyone carefully read through the categories, there was that realization that some deserving people, television shows, and movies were snubbed.

Here’s a list of a few noteworthy oversights.

Feel free to sound off on who you think should have been nominated.

Melissa McCarthy was overlooked for her work in Bridemaids and “Mike & Molly,” for which she won an Emmy.

Armie Hammer and Nick Nolte seemed to have been snubbed for J. Edgar and Warrior, respectively.

Jim Parsons, who won a Globe last year and the Emmy for the past two years for his work on “The Big Bang Theory,” got shut out this year.

He wasn’t the only perennial to get snubbed.

Hugh Laurie (“House”), Steve Carell (“The Office”), Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”), and Kyra Sedgwick (“The Closer”) were all mysteriously missing.

Directors Clint Eastwood (J. Edgar), David Fincher (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), and Steven Spielberg (War Horse), also all got dinged.

While “Breaking Bad” was overlooked by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for Best Drama, it certainly hasn’t been by fans, who’ve lit up message boards.

A number of films and their stars were also snubbed, including Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, with non-nominees Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock; Margin Call with Kevin Spacey and Jeremy Irons; Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, with its stars Gary Oldman and Colin Firth; and We Bought a Zoo, with Scarlett Johansson and Matt Damon.

Ben Flajnik: Jennifer Love Hewitt’s a “Nice Girl,” But No Interest in Dating Her.

Ben Flajnik didn’t feel the love when he took Jennifer Love Hewitt out this past summer.

While speaking to reporters today about the January 2 premiere of “The Bachelor,” Flajnik said the actress was “a nice girl,” but he ultimately wasn’t interested.

Flajnik, who was left crushed by last season’s “Bachelorette” Ashley Hebert, acknowledged Hewitt initiated the date.

“She had reached out to me and wanted to come up to the winery,” recalled Flajnik.

And while he found her to be “nice,” Flajnik said, “After this is all said and done, I want to go back to Northern California to my normal life,” noting, “Ending up with a Hollywood celebrity is not something I ever imagined doing.”

Kim Kardashian On Her Sex Tape: “I’ve Made Mistakes In My Life

On “Barbara Walters Presents: The Most Fascinating People,” the veteran journalist grilled Kim Kardashian and her family about their controversial rise to fame.

“I’ve made mistakes in my life, for sure,” Kardashian told Walters when asked about the tape.

Mom Kris Jenner, who was also interviewed along with Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, added that the leak “was devastating.”RELATED – Barbara Walters: “You Cannot Trust The Kardashians”

But the entrepreneurial Jenner decided to turn lemons into lemonade.

“You hire a really good attorney and you make something better happen,” she explained.

Several reality TV shows later, the rest, as they say, is pop culture history.

The interview, which was conducted prior to Kardashian’s recent split from Kris Humphries, aired on ABC Wednesday.

Sonija Kwok

Sonija Kwok is a Hong Kong actress, currently working for TVB.
She was born in Hong Kong and is of mixed Cantonese and British parentage. Kwok immigrated to Vancouver, Canada from Hong Kong. She initially attended the University of British Columbia but she transferred to Simon Fraser University and graduated there. After graduating from university, she became a Cathay Pacific flight attendant. After finishing her studies, she flew back to Hong Kong in 1999 and competed in the Miss Hong Kong 1999 pageant. Before the semifinals, she was a favorite for the crown because of her looks. In the semifinal, she took the Miss Photogenic award. After winning that award, she became a huge favorite for the crown. This was because for the Miss Hong Kong pageant contests of 1996 to 2001, all winners of the Miss Hong Kong pageants had also won the Miss Photogenic award. Ultimately, she won the title of Miss Hong Kong in July 1999. Besides winning the title of Miss Hong Kong of 1999, she also managed to grab two other awards and these were the Miss International Goodwill and Miss Intelligence awards. Coincidentally, the winners of the Miss Hong Kong pageant from 1997-2000 all hailed from Vancouver, Canada.
After winning the Miss Hong Kong title, she participated in many TVB events. In February 2000, she represented Hong Kong at the Miss Chinese International 2000 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. She won and was crowned Miss Chinese International of the year 2000 and had also won two other awards. She is considered one of the most successful Miss Hong Kong and Miss Chinese International winners, especially since she is the only Miss Hong Kong representative to win the Miss Chinese International pageant since Hong Kong's Michelle Reis took the crown in the pageant's inaugural year in 1988. After her success in both pageants, she represented Hong Kong at the Miss Universe 2000 pageant. Unfortunately, she did not managed to enter the top ten in that pageant which was held in Cyprus. However, she did make some impact though. For instant, by making the top ten of the Miss Photogenic polls and was featured in the front image of the Miss Universe website during that time. Kwok, as of now, is the last representative from Hong Kong to enter the Miss Universe beauty pageant.
As of today, she is filming TV series for TVB and continues to star in many TV shows, series, commercials, and entertainment functions, as well as being a spokeswoman for many beauty and other commercial products in Hong Kong. She is also filming TV series in mainland China.Kwok married Chinese martial arts choreographer Zhu Shaojie in Guam in 2011. The pair met in a film shoot in China a year earlier.
She has been linked to other TVB stars in the past including Deric Wan and Steven Ma.On 24 March 2009, Kwok was attacked by her maid, who bit her arm, pulled her hair and held a knife to her neck. This followed Kwok's reporting to the police of an earlier incident in which the maid, apparently distraught over the break-up of a relationship, held a knife to her own throat and was calmed by Kwok. The helper was subsequently held in a mental hospital.

On Infinite Challenge

As the main host of two talk shows (Come to Play and Happy Together Season 3), Yoo tries to differentiate his hosting (MC-ing) styles. In Come to Play, he focuses more on guests' episodes, rather than his own (This can be violated when his close friends appear on the show). His remarks and reactions flow even if the guest is new on any kind of variety programs, thus makes Come to Play very heartwarming to watch. Happy Together Season 3 is little bit different in a sense that the setting is much more intimate (in a sauna locker room), and Yoo's ad-libs shine brilliantly.

CLAIM: Lady Gaga to Play Amy Winehouse

Though Amy Winehouse’s recent passing is still raw in the minds of many, some outlets are already speculating about a potential film about the late singer’s life.

“Mitch Winehouse has given the green light for Lady Gaga to play his daughter Amy in a planned movie of her life,” reports the Mirror.

According to the British tab, Winehouse’s father thinks Gaga would be the “perfect” choice to portray the “Rehab” songstress on the big screen.

“She would be great,” the Mirror quotes Mitch as saying.

There’s just one problem.

He NEVER said Gaga was tapped for the role

Peterson stuns Khan to claim world titles

WASHINGTON: American Lamont Peterson stunned Britain’s Amir Khan on Saturday, winning a majority decision to take the International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association light-welterweight world titles.

Referee Joe Cooper took two points from Khan for shoving Peterson during the bout, one in the seventh round and another in the 12th, and they proved to be the margin of the Englishman’s controversial defeat.

One judge saw Khan a 115-110 winner while the other two judged Peterson the victor by scores of 113-112, giving the hometown hero the triumph.

“It was like fighting two people in the ring, the referee and Lamont,” Khan said. “I can see why there hasn’t been a big fight in Washington in the last 20 years, because of decisions like this.”

Peterson, once a homeless youth living on the streets of the US capital, improved to 30-1-1 before a sellout crowd of 8,647 at Washington Convention Center while Khan fell to 26-2 with his eight-fight win streak snapped.

“A lot of people thought I was the underdog but I followed my game plan the entire time and it worked,” Peterson said. “It was a long road but all the hard work paid off. Couldn’t have been a better night.”

Two days after his 25th birthday, Khan suffered his first defeat since falling to Colombian Breidis Prescott in 2008, a defeat that could alter his plans to move into the welterweight ranks early next year.

“I’m ready for a rematch,” Khan said. “He wants to do a fight I’m here.”

Peterson, whose only loss was in 2009 to unbeaten US rival Tim Bradley, could look for a rematch against Bradley but made it clear he was ready to face Khan again as well.

“I would definitely give him a rematch,” Peterson said. “Why not? He gave me a chance.”

Khan made $1.1 million for the fight plus more from British pay-per-view television while Peterson took home $650,000.Khan used evasive moves to set up attacks well, but at the end of the seventh round, Cooper took a point from Khan for repeated pushing after the champion used his left forearm to shove Peterson away.

“Every time I tried to keep him away from me he kept coming in low,” Khan said. “I was the cleaner fighter. He was so wild in there. He was either going to head butt me or push me all night. The referee wasn’t giving me a chance.”

Tension built as the fighters tired and Peterson, eyes swollen and face bloodied, chased Khan in vain most of the last two rounds.

Cooper took another point from Khan for a shove with 1:50 remaining in the fight and it kept Khan from winning the round on all three cards. Without it, Khan would have kept his titles with a majority draw.

Kardashian drops only one spot to #2, and Jennifer Aniston, who found love again this year with Justin Theroux, is #3.

“Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we’re releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early,” Hefner tweeted.

“Her issue goes on sale late next week,” he added. “Hot. Hot. Hot.”

As Gossip Cop reported earlier, the graphic Marilyn Monroe-inspired photos weren’t supposed to be revealed until December 15, with the entire issue hitting newsstands soon after.

Hefner, noting the leaked images were already causing “a sensation,” tweeted that he still expects the issue will “be a true Collector’s Edition.”

Jennifer Aniston Is The Hottest Woman of All Time, Says Men’s Health

Sorry, Angelina Jolie lovers.

Jennifer Aniston is officially the Hottest Woman of All Time – at least according to a new list from Men’s Health.

So just how hot is Aniston?

Hot enough to beat some of pop culture’s sexiest starlets, past and present, including Marilyn Monroe (no. 3), Mila Kunis (no. 96), Jennifer Lopez (no. 60) and Rita Hayworth (no. 58).

Kim Kardashian was named no. 26, while Megan Fox ranked 14th.

As for Jolie, she came in at no. 10, falling behind the likes of Jane Fonda and Pamela Anderson, among others.

Aniston topped Raquel Welch for the magazine’s highest honor.

But the humble “Friends” star admitted she would give the title to someone else if it were up to her.

Italian police raid Leonardo masterpiece hunters

Italian police on Wednesday raided Florence’s most famous palace over allegations that a US quest for a long-lost Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece is damaging a fresco believed to be covering it.

“Police have visited the scene and have closely examined the fresco, as well as speaking to restorers,” Marco Agnoletti, a spokesman from Florence’s city council, which is based in the same building, the Palazzo Vecchio, told AFP.

The last reference to Da Vinci’s unfinished “Battle of Anghiari” was in the 16th century — but Florence’s top art authority believes it is hidden behind a fresco by Giorgio Vasari and has launched a controversial project to find it.

Da Vinci began his work in 1505 and Vasari painted his fresco in 1563.

San Diego University art historian Maurizio Seracini, who was mentioned in Dan Brown’s bestseller “The Da Vinci Code”, is leading the project.

National Geographic, which has reportedly paid $250,000 (187,000 euros) for exclusivity on any findings from the research, is also taking part.

Reseachers bored holes into the Vasari work in the hope that tiny cameras would confirm San Diego art historian Maurizio Seracini’s theory that the Renaissance artist’s bloody depiction of warfare is hidden underneath.

The technology used in the project was developed by a senior US nuclear physicist, Robert Smither, who came up with a special camera to generate high-resolution images of a cancer’s location in the human body.

Harry Potter park to appear in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES: Universal Studios will spend several hundred million dollars to build a Harry Potter attraction inside its existing Hollywood theme park in hopes of mimicking the success of a similar park in Orlando, Florida.

Executives announced the project Tuesday with much fanfare, spraying confetti and hoisting mugs of the wizardly brew butter beer.

The attraction, based on the Warner Bros. movies about the boy wizard in J.K. Rowling’s novels, will create more than 1,000 jobs at Universal and even more indirectly from an expected boost in tourism, officials said.

At the same time, Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter will get an expansion.

Since the Harry Potter attraction opened in Florida in June of last year, company executives have said attendance has jumped by about 50 percent, but did not give raw figures.

”It was a game changer for us and frankly for Orlando,” Universal Studios president Ron Meyer told reporters after an announcement at the Universal Studios Hollywood.

”The expansion in Orlando will make it that much more of a must-see, and we’ll have the same experience here.”

Executives did not immediately detail their plans for the Hollywood park, but Meyer said there was enough room to expand.

”We’re not landlocked,” Meyer said. ”We’re (on) 400 acres on this lot and 200 of them are still not developed.”

Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky said he was told that a live concert venue, Gibson Amphitheatre, would be scrapped to make way for the attraction.

He said it would open around 2014, but officials did not give a date.

The widely expected announcement happened in typically dressed-up Hollywood style, complete with staff wearing scarves representing the various houses of the fictional wizard’s school, Hogwarts, beneath a theater marquee that said, ”Hogwarts is coming to Hollywood.”

James Cameron Sued For Allegedly Stealing Avatar Idea

Was the highest-grossing movie of all time based on a stolen idea?

That’s the argument behind a new lawsuit reportedly filed against Avatar writer and director James Cameron.

The award-winning filmmaker was allegedly pitched an “environmentally themed 3-D epic about a corporation’s colonization and plundering of a distant moon’s lush and wondrous natural setting” back in 1999.

Eric Ryder claims he had several meetings with Cameron’s production company about the potential project, until he was allegedly told in 2002 that no one would see such a film.

Ryder’s attempts to get recognition in 2009, when the record-breaking movie starring Sam Worthington was released, were reportedly rebuffed.

Tom Cruise “Working” on Top Gun Sequel

Tom Cruise confirmed that 25 years after his hit Top Gun, there’s talk about doing a sequel.

“We’re working on it,” he told MTV News at the Dubai International Film Festival, adding, “I hope we can figure this out to do it again.”

Cruise, who was promoting Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, said he’s been talking with Top Gun director Tony Scott about the film’s plotline.

“We never thought that we would do it again,” said Cruise. “Then, they started to come to us with these ideas of where it is now. I thought, ‘Wow… what we could do now.’”

He further notes,  ”We all want to make a film that is in the same kind of tone as the other one and shoot it in the same way as we shot Top Gun.”

Lady Gaga to Ellen: My Dream Is To Star In A Woody Allen Movie

Lady Gaga may have a dream director for a future film role, but she has no interest in a dream home.

In an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” set to air on Friday, Gaga says, ”My dream would be to be in a Woody Allen movie.”

The mega-rich singer, who describes herself as a “gypsy,” also reveals why she still doesn’t own her own home.

Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries Struggle with Long-Distance Love (VIDEO)

America’s favorite slow-motion train wreck continued on “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” this week, as Kim Kardashian‘s trip to Minnesota to see Kris Humphries once again raised the question: Why did these two marry in the first place?

Viewers saw Kardashian travel to Humphries’ neck of the woods for a little rest and relaxation, only to wonder why he seemed so comfortable living thousands of miles away from her.

“It’s weird to me and frustrating that he’s so content with living separately,” says Kardashian.

Humphries was also in a reflective state, telling his wife, “Your armpits smell like a combination of fish and hot garbage.

Angelina Jolie Sued For Allegedly Stealing Movie Idea

Angelina Jolie,s directorial debut has yet to hit theaters, but it continues to cause a stir – for the wrong reasons.

James Braddock, a journalist and author of the book “The Soul Shattering,” is seeking to prevent the release of Jolie’s film, In The Land of Blood and Honey, on copyright grounds.

Braddock claims in a lawsuit that he met with Edin Sarkic, a producer on Jolie’s movie, several times to discuss adapting his 2007 book on the Bosnian War before the A-list star and Sarkic developed their own version, which allegedly features similar plot details and characters.

Like in Jolie’s movie, Braddock’s novel tells the story of a Serbian commander who falls in love with a female prisoner.

Jolie, Sarkic and the production companies behind the upcoming film – slated to be released Dec. 23 – are all named in the suit, which seeks damages.

The latest ‘Twilight’ movie continues to be most popular

The vampire heart-throbber neared the quarter-billion-dollar mark, raking in a total of $247.3 million since it opened, and $16.9 this weekend alone, according to Exhibitor Relations.

That put the teen flick ahead of “The Muppets,” the new film based on the Jim Henson puppet characters, which grossed $11.2 million in its second week in theaters for a total run of $56.1 million so far.

Martin Scorcese’s first 3D film “Hugo” came in third place. The adventure drama based on Brian Selznick’s novel “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station raked in $7.6 million.

Veena Malik sues over ‘morphed’ nude photo

NEW DELHI: Pakistani actress Veena Malik has filed a defamation suit against an Indian magazine for a “morphed” cover photo of her posing nude with the initials of Pakistan’s intelligence agency on her arm.

Malik’s spokesman, Sohail Rasheed, said on Monday that the actress was seeking 100 million rupees in damages from FHM India, whose editor insists the cover shoot was genuine and consensual.

“The picture has been morphed,” Rasheed said in Islamabad, adding that the magazine had targeted Malik’s “credibility and character”.

The magazine’s December issue has yet to hit news stands. But a preview of the cover on its website triggered a media frenzy.

FHM India editor Kabeer Sharma told AFP at the weekend that he was mystified by Malik’s allegations.

“Maybe she is facing some kind of backlash, so maybe that’s why she is denying it.

“We have not photoshopped or faked the cover. This is what she looks like, she has an amazing body,” Sharma said.

In his Twitter feed on Monday, Sharma said he would release a series of photos from the shoot proving his version of the story.

While Malik’s pose on the cover preserves a scant degree of modesty, any nudity is still very much frowned upon in conservative India – and indeed in Pakistan.

What has raised more eyebrows was her arm sporting the initials ISI – the acronym for Inter-Services Intelligence, Pakistan’s spy agency.

Sharma said the idea had been to take an ironic swipe at India’s obsession with the ISI.People, especially young people in both countries, want to move past this kind of thinking,” the editor said.

“It’s a very powerful picture – it took a lot of guts for her to do that. It shows a powerful, sexy woman not afraid to speak her mind.”

Malik is already well known in India for appearing on “Bigg Boss”, the country’s version of the television reality show “Big Brother”.

Key US senators urge review of Pakistan funding

WASHINGTON: The United States must “fully review” its ties with Pakistan and consider cuts or new restrictions to military and economic aid, Republican senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham urged Monday.

A joint statement from the veteran American politicians conveyed the depth of feeling felt by many of their contemporaries in Washington about the need to re-evaluate a decade-long strategic relationship that has foundered this year.

“The United States has been incredibly patient with Pakistan. And we have been so despite certain undeniable and deeply disturbing facts,” they said.

“The time has come for the United States to fully review its relations with Pakistan. We must assess the nature and levels of our support.”

McCain serves as the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, while Graham is a member of that panel and is the top Republican on the committee that allocates US foreign aid.

“All options regarding US security and economic assistance to Pakistan must be on the table, including substantial reductions and stricter standards for performance,” they said.

The senators then cited alleged support from Pakistani army and intelligence officials for the Haqqani network “and other terrorist groups”blamed for attacks on US targets in Afghanistan “that are killing US troops.”
